Geoff Campbell is a freelance communication designer and ceramicist based in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver. As a graduate of Emily Carr University, he brings a design perspective into the studio, creating functional ceramics that celebrate simple geometric forms. He strives to create work that is playful and pleasant to interact with, while maintaining a clean and minimal aesthetic. Lately Geoff has been pushing the limits of his slab building process by creating larger pieces including furniture. In his upcoming talk, Geoff will share his creative process, discussing how his design background and experiences with everyday objects influences his approach to ceramics.
